In collaboration with Nike, The Medium created a new brand identity system for the Michigan State University Athletics Department. Though boasting a rich history and proud athletic heritage, MSU was in need of a cohesive, more aggressive and modern design that encompassed the spirit of the Spartans’ name and beliefs. We designed a new typeface and numbering system, a secondary mark, and an identity guide to help establish cohesion on all uniforms, sporting venues, and marketing materials.
